Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kaycademy (the "Service") operated by Chris Magondo ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that happens under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Kaycademy offers piano courses across four levels: Foundation, Contemporary Essentials, Advanced Piano, and Ministry Musicianship and Leadership, plus an Academy Bundle covering Levels 1–3.

Progressive access: course levels unlock in order. You must complete Level 1 before purchasing Level 2, and so on. The Academy Bundle gives prepaid access to Levels 1–3 but progressive completion is still required.

Lesson availability: course lessons are delivered via streaming video. Your account remains active for as long as you continue using the Service. Accounts that have been inactive for 12 consecutive months may be paused to keep our platform tidy. Paused accounts can be reactivated at any time by emailing kaycacademy@gmail.com — your purchase history and progress are preserved.

All prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable taxes.

• Level 1 (Foundation): £150 (or 2 × £75 instalments, family bundle £400, bring-a-friend £125 for second student)
• Level 2 (Contemporary Essentials): £230 (or 2 × £115)
• Level 3 (Advanced Piano): £300 (or 2 × £150)
• Level 4 (Ministry Musicianship and Leadership): £500 (or 2 × £250)
• Academy Bundle (Levels 1–3): £620 (or 2 × £310) — saves £60 versus separate purchase

Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms when paying.

Instalments: where instalments are offered, the first payment grants access to half the lessons. Full access is granted upon the second payment, which is due within 30 days of the first.

Our refund policy is published separately at /refunds and forms part of these Terms.

A free first lesson is available without payment or card details. After signing up, the introduction lesson plus Lesson 1 of Level 1 are accessible at no cost. The free trial does not include homework submission or feedback from Kayc; those are part of paid enrollment.

Booking inquiries submitted via the Bookings page are quotes only and do not constitute a confirmed booking. A confirmed booking requires written agreement between you and Kayc on specific terms (date, location, fee, scope). Cancellation terms for confirmed bookings will be agreed at that time.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Download, copy, or redistribute the course videos
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Harass or abuse Kayc or other students through messaging features

Violations may result in account suspension without refund.

All course content, including videos, written materials, and homework instructions, is the intellectual property of Chris Magondo and Kaycademy. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access the content for your own learning. You may not share, copy, redistribute, or use the content commercially.

Messages and homework submissions you send through the Service may be reviewed by Kayc and stored for the purpose of providing feedback. We will not share your messages with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at our discretion. We will give you reasonable notice of significant changes that affect your access.

You may close your account at any time by contacting kaycacademy@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your access to course content ends
• We retain payment records as required by law
• You may request deletion of your personal information per the Privacy Policy

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
